We will continue to review the Frog Jump Letters as well as learning about the uppercase letters H and K. We’re going to be introducing the number 5 after reviewing the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4.
We have lots of fun science experiments planned this week to help explain why leaves turn colors and how to carve a pumpkin. The kiddos will be creating some Halloween books including the Five Little Pumpkins, which goes along with the Halloween skit they will be performing.
The Firefighters will be visiting our school, and the kids will get a chance to sit inside the fire truck and listen to them talk about their job!
Please see the schedule for Halloween (October 31, Tuesday)! Parents are welcome!
9:15 – Parade (Please meet us downstairs in the Narthex. We will be coming downstairs to show everyone their costumes.)
9:30 – Halloween skit (The kiddos have been practicing a skit for you about the “Five Little Pumpkins”)
9:45-11:00 – Halloween party (you don’t have to pack a snack. It will be provided at the party.)
Jessica (Tyler’s mom) will be sending out an email with the sign-up sheet for the party.
We hope to see everyone this week!
Panda Team ??
Hello Families, My name is Ms. Becky and I teach Kindie Prep 5’s Monday – Friday in the Panda Room. I have been teaching ECE for 16 years. My interests are taking walks with my husband and dog, watching movies with my son and consignment shopping with my daughter. I love to teach preschool children because
they are so loving and accepting, have an open mind to learn and it is rewarding to watch them grow academically and socially to become amazing citizens.
My name is Sheila Stevenson. This will be my fifth year at Little Blessings. I would love for my families to call me Miss Sheila. I have been blessed with many teaching opportunities. I have had the privilege of teaching second thru fifth grade. I have also been an aide in Kindergarten for two years. I must say I especially enjoy working with the preschoolers, they are such a delight and always have many interesting things to share. So often the teachers will get together and relate funny stories or sayings some of the students share. We always say we should write a book. I must say teaching preschool brings many smiles to my face. Am looking so forward to meeting each and everyone of you
Hello! I’m Sally Disler and I’m excited to be teaching in the Pandas. This is my third year at Little Blessings. I have been an assistant teacher in Kindergarten and have taught 1st and 2nd grades. I have two children, my daughter is in 4th grade and my son is a 1st grader. My husband and I love taking the kids for hikes in the mountains and we usually ski every weekend. This will be a great year!
