Hi, I am Beth Wahlers and am excited to begin the new school year! I graduated from college with an English degree and worked in a publishing company for many years. In 2011, I began working in the PUMC nursery. This inspired me to go back to school and complete my Early Childhood Education courses. And I haven’t looked back since! I spent 14 years teaching 2 and 3 year olds at Little Blessings. I am excited to begin a new path this year, teaching 4’s in the Hedgehog classroom! I have been married for 26 years and have two amazing young adult children. My daughter is 21 and just graduated college and my son is 18 and heading to his first year of college this fall. Time goes too fast! I enjoy reading, cooking, walking with my 2 dogs and hiking or paddle boarding with my family. Teaching is a blessing to me. I love to see how quickly the kids absorb information and to watch them have those proud “ah ha” moments. I’m looking forward to another great year!
Hi! I am Susie Lauvray, and I am excited to begin my 16th year at Little Blessings! I have been teaching preschool for 22 years, and completed my Early Childhood courses through the CO Dept. of Education and Pyramid Plus. In addition to teaching, I dedicated over a decade to non-profit work with my husband. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary!
Our family has lived in Colorado for over 25 years, and we have 2 adult children, a son-in-law, as well as a sweet 1 yr old grandson who is getting all the Grandma love possible! In my free time, I’m happiest surrounded by family and friends, browsing thrift shops, enjoying books and podcasts, and water coloring out in nature.
I am grateful for the privilege of teaching and nurturing your child this year! My desire is that they would LOVE school, have FUN while learning, and feel appreciated for the unique individual that they are. We are going to have an amazing year together!
