Hello! I’ve been part of the Little Blessings Family since 2004, starting as a teacher and now working as Assistant Director (my third year). In my spare time I like to read, go to the gym, cook, and walk my dogs. I never start my day without a LARGE cup (or two) of coffee and I have a weakness for all things chocolate. I love the emerging personalities, curiosity, genuineness, and joy that the young people in our school bring each day. Having the opportunity to show God’s love to the students and parents at Little Blessings is an amazing blessing to me.
Hello! My name is Emily Shaffer and I am the Director at the Plaza Campus. This is my third year being at Little Blessings. I moved to Colorado from Nebraska, where I was born and raised (GO BIG RED!), in the summer of 2007. Before moving to Colorado, I worked in a K-12 Special Education classroom for 5 years. After moving to Colorado, I taught Pre-K in Highlands Ranch for 6 years. Our first child, a daughter, was born in 2012 and as a family, we decided that I would stay home with her. In 2014 our second child, a son, was born. I enjoy gardening, college football, coffee and especially camping and riding ATVs with my family. My family and I have been members of Parker United Methodist Church since 2009 and I also served on the SPR Committee for PUMC for 2 years. I can truly say that I love my job and feel so blessed to be able to serve families and their children in our community.
Hello! My name is Judi McGrevey and I am the Office Manager located at our Plaza location. I am responsible for scheduling and managing all the Supplemental Care needed for our families as well as supporting our Director and teachers. I am originally from Arizona and have been in Colorado for 6 years now and will finally admit I like all the different seasons offered in this beautiful state. My experience is in working in Human Resources as well as helping to manage and grow businesses to the next level. I have two wonderful children ages 7 and 5 and love playing with them and just being silly. I have a passion for healthy living, exercise and truly helping others. I enjoy watching kids discover the world around them and I love giving support to all of our families in any way possible. I look forward to working to help the wonderful families of Little Blessings and caring for all those fabulous children.
