Ms. Jaime

Hi, my name is Jaime Davis and this will be my 10th year teaching at Little Blessings. I have taught for 17 years total. I started my career in child development teaching in a Montessori school in California. I grew up in a small town in California where I meet my husband in high school.( 25 yrs ago)  Fun fact we both our named Jaime. We moved to Colorado 11 years ago with our family and love it here. We have 3 children, 1 golden retrievers (Sami) 2 cats ( Butch and Chip) and 2 big Oscar fish…….. My oldest daughter  is 19 and going into her junior year of college at CSU. She is studying to be a physical therapist. My son is 16 and going into his junior year of high school and my youngest daughter is 12 and going into 7th grade. They keep us very busy…. When I’m not teaching or driving my kids everywhere you will find me running.  I am a very competitive runner. I’ve been running on and off since I was 7. About a year ago I really took it on seriously and have a goal to run a marathon soon. All my children run as well and it is some of my favorite times going on a run with them.
I also have a love for nature and plants. I do own a lot of plants and enjoy learning about them and collecting them. I love visiting the botanic garden in Denver… such a beautiful, peaceful place!
I am so thankful to be apart of this amazing school for the last 10 years. I have really enjoyed getting to know these children and their families. I can’t wait to see what this year brings.

Ms. Melanie

Hi, my name is Melanie Hora. This is my 7th year teaching at Little Blessings and my 14th year as a preschool teacher. I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Colorado via Arizona, where I received my Bachelors degree in Family Studies from the University of Arizona. My husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and we have 3 crazy but amazing kiddos. Dylan is a junior at CU Boulder and our twins Zac and Hailey are juniors at Legend High School. Our kids keep us pretty busy so most weekends you will find us on the sidelines cheering them on!

I am so excited to get to know you and your kids. Young children are like sponges and I enjoy watching them learn and grow. Everyday is different and I love seeing them reach their “aha” moments! It’s going to be a fun year.

Teachers Favorite Things!!!
